Save Nathan Petrelli.com

This is a site intended to help convince the writers of Heroes that Nathan Petrelli is an integral part of the series and that his story is not over yet. By now most people must have seen season 2 episode 11 and realise that once again, the writers put Nathan’s fate in cliffhanger. This could go either way and we intend on making sure that it’ll go the positive way. Please comment and post your support for the characters here. And let’s discuss how to best approach this situation.

Nathan has to be saved! I have never felt so passionately about a character. He is the saving grace of Heroes, he saved the world! Remember? And just when his life was starting to get back on track, he dies. Bleh… SAVE PETRELLI!

He was becoming an interesting character, built up from season 1 and now they (possibly) kill him? He still has more to offer.

I created a t-shirt that I will be wearing at the Jules Verne convention and if anyone else wants it the link is above.

It is $21, just in black ink and on a white t-shirt. I did this so there is no min order requirement, so everyone can order the shirt for themselves

I have used the internet for many years, but I have seldom posted messages. What I will do for the love of NATHAN PETRELLI! My enjoyment of a TV series begins with love of a character. I originally had no real interest in HEROES because it boasted an ensemble cast, meaning for me no chance to connect to a character. But Nathan’s character grabbed my attention and loyalty immediately, thanks to Adrian Pasdar! And of course after the end of the episode “Powerless,” I felt the pain and thought, “See! I shouldn’t have cared so much!” But the character of Nathan, as protrayed brilliantly by Adrian Pasdar, has so much depth (with multiple story possibilities) and connects so well to other characters in the show (usually bringing out the best in them), that I did care about Nathan, Peter, and the show as a whole. And because I care, I am all for SAVE NATHAN, SAVE THE SHOW. Thanks to those who are organizing this effort! Thank you Adrian! I have lots of faith that NBC and HEROES’ writers/producers will love the positive PR and enjoy reading our reactions when NATHAN LIVES!!

Nathan is definitely the glue that holds Heroes together. He is connected to almost every character in the show in meaningful ways. I remember when I first watched the first couple of episodes, I really did not develop a strong liking to Nathan. However, over season 1 and especially season 2 I can not imagine the show without him. I have to say that I will have a hard time enjoying the show going forward if his strong, caring and level headed demeanor is missing. The relationship that he has with Peter is probably one of the best developed and cared about relationships of any show. It would be missed greatly.

As disgusted as I am by the thought, I’m really hoping this whole ‘Nathan being shot in the chest after just having been reunited with his brother’ thing is some ploy on the part of the writers to get people interested again. Because its certainly working.

I love him way, way too much to watch him go.

I don’t think the writers can fail to be amazed by the current outpouring of love and support from the fans.

I would miss Nathan horribly if he were gone. I do want him back.

Nathan is by far my favorite superpowered character on Heroes. He is by far the most complex, compellingly written, and multidimensional. He interacted with all of the individual storylines in season one… and has proven *twice* that he will do everything in his power to save the world. His relationship with Peter is the strongest on the show, and his interaction with his mom has taken an entirely new turn this second season.

Killing off Nathan would be like writing a powerful, moving poem - and then putting it in the paper shredder. I would watch every Heroes episode with that horrible quiet feeling of “what if Nathan had been there?”

Nathan represents, among so many other things, the power of redemption. It would be such a pity if a character this deeply written were sacrificed for a mere plot point.

Nathan is the best character on the show, and for the writers to kill him off would just be another bad decision they made this season. Tim Kring had to apologise once already for the way this season has gone. I would hate for him to have to do it again after Heroes loses more fans due to Nathan’s untimely death. Thanks for putting up this website. I hope we can make a difference.

I just found out that Nathan himself, Adrian Pasdar, as well as Milo, Zachary Quinto, Jack Coleman, Sendhil,(notice I don’t attempt to spell 2 last names), and 5 other cast members of Heroes will be appearing at the Jules Verne Film Fest. Those of you who are going are very lucky indeed. If I could afford to, I would fly out in a heartbeat. So, everybody who can get there, make your presence known, and make sure our message gets out. Save Nathan Petrelli!

    save him pleaseeeeeeeeeeee

  14. KC December 8th, 2007 3:23 pm

Nathan is bravest of all the Heroes. He gave up everything (election, family) and was prepared to die in order to save New York City. He is also the most complex of all the characters.

While there are reasons for him to die from the assassination, I do hope that he returns.

Just last night, as I sat mourning nathan’s possible demise ( seriously, i was really sad), I thought ‘ there has to be something the fans can do to stop it!’ So…I am so relieved to see people actually doing something about it! If they brought HRG back after being shot in the face, nathan has to have a future!

    SUPPORT! SUPPORT! SUPPORT!
Nathan is one of the best (and definitely one of the most interesting) characters on the show!!! WE NEED HIM!!!!!

  20. Ariannette February 14th, 2008 3:18 pm

I think that him getting shot might be a way of reuniting Peter, Claire and him. I certainly hope that’s it because since adam seems to be buried alive claire’s blood is the only one that can save him now. Look what it did for HRG, so maybe just maybe that’s what the writers are going o do.

Nathan is the best character, if he dies, the show dies !
