Artistic Endeavors for Fundraising
Something really cool I’ve seen here, and I knew, but I never fully commented on: you guys are all really crafty. Seriously. And crafty things, if you are so willing, are good for fundraising. 
The t-shirts that Andy designed (still working on how to distribute those), Kame’s prints, and a secret project that Hinata is working on, but I assure you that you will love! All of this has me thinking: is there anybody else who wants to make something to be sold to fellow fans to gain funds? We still very much need a treasurer to keep the PayPal account (someone in the US, I think, because that’s where most of the things for fundraising will occur, but I can check on that.) If you’re interested in donating, or helping with being treasurer, please comment here!

Okay, here’s what we’ve come up with.
To make things less confusing, what we’d like to do is set up a joint account between you and me on deviantart. I trust that neither of us will do anything wrong or illegal with it or whatever. Artists from our site (and probably 9thwonders as well, as we’d like to branch out to as many communities as possible) will submit their art to me. Artists who would like to submit art on the behalf of SNP.com will submit it to you.
We will post the art up on the deviantart site. I believe there is a way you can set it up to have the funds go to one central account; we could set up a paypal account online specifically for this as well. I’ll have to look into that.
We’ve come to the conclusion that it would probably be easiest if we didn’t divide the monies up until after the “competition” was over — I would be keeping track of how much money was being raised from people buying SArmy prints, and you could keep track of how much money was being raised from people buying SNP artist prints. Once the competition is over, we could divide the monies evenly. Sylar’s Army will, of course, be sending theirs to the GLF. SNP could send there’s wherever they want.
Since this is something I’d like to run starting in February, we have the rest of the month to figure out the rules and regulations and such. If you want me to set up a deviantart account, please let me know. I’ll set up a basic one and give you the passwords and such.

We really need to save Nathan!
I loved the Heroes character and I thought he added a great deal to the show. I also love that like my other favorite New York politician, he comes from a prominent Italian family. After his divorce, loss of office in ‘89, and troubles with his daughter we all felt bad for Giuliani. Oops, I meant after Nathan lost his office, divorce, and troubles with Claire (and that explosion), we all became attached to a character who had survived despite so many challenges. We all need Heroes who do the right thing, even if their path has led them thru some dark times. Saving Nathan Petrelli is like saving Giuliani to me.
